Shaq - Atlanta Airport Train
I was not looking for celebrities. While waiting around the Atlanta airport train, Shaq found me. He started joking around, including the bicep squeeze / play-choke moment. The train moved while the picture was being taken, so the photo missed the exact moment and came out blurry. Somehow that makes it better.
John Saunders - Airport Encounter
This was a very quick airport picture. The funny part is that the photo looks relaxed, but I was sick as crap and did not want to stay long. It was still worth stopping for.
Brett Favre - Small Store Appearance
This one was different from the airport encounters. It was more planned, through a friend of my wife's with a strong connection. The small-store setting made it feel much more personal than a quick celebrity sighting.
Pete took the original picture. Brett later signed the photo, "To Pete, Nice Picture." Bus Cook, Favre's longtime agent, was there too.
Fat Joe - Chicago Airport Lunch
No picture for this one, which is part of the story. My buddy and I ended up having lunch close enough to talk with Fat Joe and his group at the Chicago airport. I had no idea who he was while we were eating and talking. I figured it out later.
